As conferences begin and get underway, please be sure to to reach out and let me know how I can support you and your students when social-emotional concerns arise. Remember that a quick and simple way to update me, as well as Kristen and Andrew, regarding a social-emotional concern is to complete the Brown Social/Emotional Concern Form.
Should you become aware of a recent loss that a student or family has experienced, consider sharing the following information with the family about Lory’s Place Group, or let me know and I can follow up with the family.
If you learn of a recent change or transition within a student’s family, please feel free to pass along the following information about Changing Families Group, or inform me and I am more than willing to connect with the family as well.
Food Truck Fall Birthday Celebration
Let's plan to celebrate our colleagues and friends that have a fall birthday by enjoying a delicious meal together. We will welcome Sammy Arepas food truck on our school playground for lunch on Thursday immediately following dismissal. If you have a fall birthday, your meal is on me!
If the weather permits, we will gather in the courtyard at the picnic tables. Families will be welcome to buy lunch as well. It would be wonderful if everyone joins us - both for our social connection and to support this local business. If you have a conference right away, please place your order with me and we'll get it ready for you.
