Happy New Year and Welcome Back, Brown School Staff!

The New Year always brings a renewed sense of hope and endless possibilities to embrace. We have so much to celebrate - beginning with a wedding, a graduation, and a new member of our staff. We are also looking forward to seeing the joy on our students' (and each others') faces in-person tomorrow! Hooray!

Thank you for your continued commitment to safe practices. Staying together is a top priority for all of us. Please be sure you are not within 6 ft of another staff member for 15 minutes or more.

The media center is a great space to eat and spread apart at lunchtime. We have also moved some of the lounge chairs to the music room and have set up an additional space for you to enjoy your lunch with the company of friends safely.

This week is an excellent time to revisit your September plans related to routines and procedures. Please consider discussing safety protocols with your students again as a refresher- especially correct hand washing, masking, and sanitizing procedures.

Does your New Year's resolution include self-care? It's not too late...

Congratulations Kim & Blake!

It is my great pleasure to share that Kim Barron became Mrs. Kim Dilley over the winter break! Congratulations to the newlyweds! Please join me in wishing them a lifetime of happiness as husband and wife.

Congratulations to Joa!

During our phase of remote teaching and learning, Miss Joa Puckett completed her student teaching experience with Amber and earned her degree in education! We are so delighted to welcome another teacher to this incredibly important profession.

Great news - Joa is on our Red Rover list so we look forward to seeing much more of her!

Welcome Cornell!

Our Brown School family would like to welcome Mr. Cornell Burton, student teacher with Mrs. Hassenger, to our learning community.

Mr. Burton is a lifelong resident of Berrien County.  He is a husband, father, pastor, and a talented singer & songwriter. Making a difference through educating our young learners has been a lifelong dream that he’s looking forward to fulfilling. He will begin his internship this week. Welcome to Brown School, Cornell!

You are all coffee beans!
Thank you for continually transforming your craft to meet the needs of your learners each and every day. You inspire, innovate, and achieve each and every day.

💛💙We are Brown School. 💛💙
