Report Cards
Thank you for all of your hard work and thoughtful reflection as you work on creating a piece of your students' permanent record. PLEASE be sure to text/email/call Sara as soon as your grades are all set. She will email you a proof right away and once you approve, she will print two sets of report cards - one for the families and one for classroom teachers.
Grades are not due until 4pm on Monday, however she would gladly print them during the day Monday if they are ready. Report card envelopes, printed report cards, and NWEA family reports will be in your mailboxes by Tuesday morning (or as sooner, if able). You will have Tuesday to look them over and stuff the envelopes. We will plan to send them home on that day because we do not have school Wednesday. If you are in need of help with stuffing, please let the office know.
As a reminder, itinerants are not submitting grades this year due to their inability to be face-to-face with students.
Thank you for all that you are doing and have done to support our 1:1 Initiative kickoff. From providing feedback and learning new technology to creating reminder signs near your classroom exit door to leading recorded boot camp lessons and answering questions from students and families, please know that it hasn't gone unnoticed. You are appreciated!

Small group targeted instruction in action - even in the event of necessary remote teaching and learning. WOW! Thank you for all that you do to advocate for inclusivity and for being flexible in all things so that our students get what they need - no matter what!
We are Brown School.
Here are a few words from some VERY appreciative families:
Just wanted to show you how much this means to [our children] to be included via Google Meet! They loved being able to connect with everyone they have missed.
It's really difficult for my kids not to be in class. They are missing their friends and their teachers.
However, [their teachers] have gone above and beyond in making sure [they] feel connected and are up to speed on what's happening in the classroom.
The smile on [her] face when she has been able to hear [her teacher] through Seesaw has been awesome.
[He] is enjoying connecting with [his teacher] through google classroom.
Finally, when I count my blessings this holiday season, I count each and everyone one of you twice. You are all such a gift to me personally and professionally.
Thanksgiving is likely going to look and feel a bit different for many of us this year. Please take the necessary time to unplug, unwind, and enjoy the break with the ones you love.
