What does relationship building, engagement and specific feedback look like in the classroom?
Moving to our learners, meeting them at their level, providing in-the-moment formative feedback...dynamic examples of our amazing staff in action!
PTO Meeting Sign Up
- Students are welcome to wear costumes all day. Families should use good judgement regarding costumes knowing that students will be working in them throughout the school day (are asked to leave the bulkier pieces of the costume at home).
- Masks, as required daily in the school setting, will still be required for safety reasons. Students will not be able to wear a costume mask instead. As per usual, no gore, weapons or "weapon like" items should come to school.
- Staff are also encouraged to dress up and celebrate together!
- All classes will have some sort of class party, activities and treats will be determined by the teacher in association with families that chose to plan and/or contribute (see form linked here that you can share with your families for help- please make a copy first). Information about the class celebration will be shared in teacher blogs.
- In lieu of a traditional Halloween parade, we will take pictures and share them on our closed PTO FB page and in our blogs.
- An invitation will be sent to families in an effort to learn more about other holiday traditions celebrated in our school community (great for future planning, learning, and considerations).
