Virtual Learning - Week 7
Way to go, Brown School Staff!
According to our recent attendance records, 99% of our elementary students connected with our teachers in some way during the last week of instruction. WOW! This is a true testament of your relentless pursuit to ensure all students are reached. In addition, it is a reflection of the power of your relationships. We would like to wish all of our special mothers, grandmothers, aunts, and other very special women the happiest of Mother's Days. The love and support you offer to your children and our Brown School babies cannot be overstated. You deserve only the best!
Learning Support Opportunity
We have great news! Kristi, Carol, and Megan will host "office hours" weekly (beginning Monday, May 11th through the end of the school year). This opportunity is open to all Brown School First - Fifth graders. Attending a weekly Hangout Meet will provide students an additional layer of support as they work to complete the assignments shared by classroom teachers. It is our hope that this connection will not only benefit our students, but will also help to support families in finding balance during this time of remote teaching and learning.
Kindergartners currently on a Reading Improvement Plan will be offered an opportunity to connect with Miss Paolilli, an interventionist from EPC. The focus of these lessons will be phonemic awareness using Heggerty.
The schedule is below. Please click here for the live links to the meets. Like other connections, we ask that an adult is present.

Wi-Fi Hotspots
The district is strengthening our Wi-Fi and setting up Hotspots at all our campuses. Clarke, Brown, Lincoln, Upton, and the High School all have a designated hotspot for our families to use while in their vehicles.
