Goal Conversations
Thank you for the thoughtful conversations related to your professional growth goals for this school year. We are working on AMAZING work for our students! Please create a new post in iObservation, with a link to a shared google doc wherein you and I are both editors by next Friday, November 8th. Thank you!

Essential Literacy Practices
The GELN's work to develop and share the essential literacy practices, and our intentional focus surrounding them, will undoubtably enhance our knowledge and reflection of the teaching of reading. I've heard from a few of you already that the videos linked here have been impactful in your planning and thoughtful dialogue with your team.  Please be sure to watch at least one that supports your grade level's shared essential focus before the November 12th staff meeting.

Core5 Training
We are fortunate to welcome LaKeesha Persell, our Core5 implementation manager, to our November 12th staff meeting. She will join us via videoconference to share new features in Core5 and to answer our burning questions related to our implementation. Please plan to have your laptop!

Lincoln School is celebrating the success of their students by posting a star every time a student levels up in Core5. Jen will create a board like this for our school once the Walk-A-Thon board comes down. We will discuss the logistics at our November staff meeting. Thank you, Jen!

The Power of Empathy
If you had knowledge of another person's experiences, what they see, what they hear, what they hear, would it change the way you respond to individuals?
