It's almost Thanksgiving break - WOW! This is a perfect time of year to pause and show gratitude to those that support us on our journey. Thank you, Brown Staff, for the grit you exhibit everyday. You persevere even in the face of adversity. You show compassion and empathy by caring deeply about your colleagues and the students & families in which you serve. You make our school a happy place to enter each and everyday. I am thankful for all of you. 

*We will not have a new blog on Friday due to the 2 1/2 day week.

A kind note of recognition to share...

Thank you for allowing me the opportunity to volunteer at Brown today.  It was such a wonderful feast.  The kids singing were adorable.  Every time I have been to Brown the staff, students and other families have been so welcoming.  We feel very blessed to have our daughter attend Mrs. DeLapa's class at Brown.

 You truly are superheroes that touch many lives! 

 Core5 Training
The content that was intended to be shared by our Lexia Core5 trainer at last Tuesday's cancelled meeting will be shared via recorded screencast instead. In lieu of meeting as a whole team to watch the video together, we are asking that you spend that hour watching it when it is convenient for you before our December 17th SI/staff meeting. We will list any questions for our trainer and share ah-has then. The screencast will be shared via email as soon as it becomes available.
