Informational Parent Meeting
We are looking forward to welcoming parents to the media center Wednesday morning for our annual Title One parent meeting (as required of schools who receive Title One funds). As an intervention and school leadership team, we felt the information we are presenting and resources we are providing to families of our "at-promise" students would benefit all families. Therefore, the invitation will be open to all parents of Brown School students to join in the fun.
Reminders About Student Device Usage
Students are not allowed on devices (Chromebooks, etc.) during indoor recess. In effort to monitor content and device care, it is essential that staff members are present and that our typical class time structure is in place while devices are being used. Thank you for your help with this.
All student cellphones must be stowed in backpacks during the school day per our student handbook. This includes recess.

Paper
Our final paper order of the school year just arrived. Please limit copying to "as needed" basis and consider any alternatives to worksheets that will yield the same results. Please save any 2019-2020 copying for August.
Animals on District Property
We love them, however, per Board policy, animals are not allowed on district property, aside from curriculum-related presentations and service animals. Even outside of the school day (weekends, after school, breaks, etc.) your beloved pet can't be a Brown School guest.
