Spanish Class after school
Spanish Class
We are excited to be able to offer our students a new after school opportunity. Spanish Club will be held on Mondays beginning on February 26th. The K-2 class will be held in the Media Center and the 3-5 group will be in the music room.
Lexia Implementation
We are ready for your students to use Lexia anywhere! I will be pushing out a message to parents explaining how the program works and why it is so important that students complete the levels independently. Please keep working to encourage students to meet their minute goals each week. We are working to schedule a date in mid-March for grade levels to work with the Lexia representative to learn more about how to use the data available on your dashboard to drive instructional practice. We will have roving subs that will allow for your team to work together throughout the school day.
Looking for someone to take the lead on our staff Variety Show dance - PLEASE - this is not my wheelhouse, but I promise to dance!
Kudos and Thank You to...
- The fifth grade team for showcasing your students' amazing PBL work in our Bear Cave.
- Shelli for the bringing musical cheer to all of us last week.
- Classroom teachers for hosting the last classroom party of the year last week (so hard to believe).
- Becky for serving as one of our parent reps on our School Improvement Committee.
- Connie, Kent, Mary, and Stephanie for exploring our latest available technology - the green screen! So cool!
- Shelli and Jen for sharing your spaces with Spanish Club.
- Mary for your commitment and passion even in the most trying times.
- Jo Ann and Natalie for your patience throughout the ongoing bathroom maintenance.
- Ryan for your commitment to our fourth graders throughout Kelly's healing process.
- Our Title team and classroom teachers for working collaboratively to ensure our students are getting all of the supports they need to build success.
