Check out this great example of Quiz-Quiz-Trade in a Kindergarten classroom. The teacher added a few modifications for management purposes. It's grate-grate-grate!
Please be sure to let me know if you need your voicemail reset to reflect your new grade level/name.
BOOKS!
As you have probably noticed, there are MANY Scholastic boxes in the foyer waiting to become part of first-third grade classroom libraries due to an extremely generous SJPS Foundation Grant. Parent volunteers are lined up to help us label the books (property of SJPS, not levels), then they will be making into primary classrooms district-wide. A special projects grant was recently submitted for 4-5 classrooms and the United Way is partnering with local districts to provide additional books in Kindergarten classrooms. Very exciting!
We are beginning to collect book donations for a Little Library that will be coming soon to Brown School's exterior. In addition, the United Way is collecting books for a community book drive beginning on March 1st. All donations can be sent to the office. Thank you for posting this on your itsLearning pages as well.
Kindergarten Round-Up
It is hard to believe, but we are already planning for next school year! We are pleased to host Kindergarten Round-Up at Brown School this year. The event will be held on March 8th from 7-8 p.m. Current families of Young Fives students do not need to attend. Please help us to spread the word!
Kudos and Thank You to...

- Morgan for keeping us motivated to be fit and healthy.
- Ryan for doing an amazing job throughout Kelly's healing process.
- Becky for organizing our upcoming Madcaps assembly.
- Ben for being a silent mentor and for making a difference.

- And so many others because...you all rock!
