Lexia Implementation
Let’s make it our goal to have every student in the building know how to log in to Core 5 and have completed the initial leveling activity by Friday.  That will give us the week to figure out how we’ll be celebrating student success and to explore the teacher side of things.    Office staff and volunteers will be creating resource banks of the consumable items for the skill builders and lessons.  These will be housed in the school office near the F & P consumables, in the Title One room, and in the Resource Room (identical sets).

Please be sure to put our upcoming release days in Skyward and secure your sub ASAP!

Kagan Corner
Do you ever need students to move faster or mentally shift gears? Think about times that students are asked to clean up, cut out, or just put away supplies. Using upbeat music adds an element of fun and novelty to any lesson. In this case, trade in your 60 beats music for something a bit faster.  Dr. Kagan recommends 120 beats per minute in such cases.

Maker Day 2018
We are looking forward to an exciting day of learning and exploration on Friday.  Click here for the day's schedule. There will be teams of volunteers to lead your students through hands-on activities. Feel free to capture pictures of your students engaged in the festivities and share them with me.  I would love to share them out!
